Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
Salary - £37,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours - 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm

As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter at FCC Environment, you will work within the Waste Treatment Division (WTD) and quarries to provide onsite maintenance at its sites located within the Yorkshire region.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Providing routine and breakdown electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, gearboxes and motors to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Providing support for process development and site improvements
- Undertaking the ultrasonic thickness testing of equipment and interpreting the results
- Maintaining records of work undertaken, inspections and testing
- Working alongside contractors and FCC staff
What are we looking for?
- Experience working within the waste and/or quarry industry
- A Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- A full, valid driving licence (as this is a multi-site role)
