Job Title: Office Administrator

Location: Newton Abbot

Salary: £22,350 - £23,500

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours, 08.30am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday

The Role: As an Office Administrator based in the Newton Abbot office you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including reception, admin support, filling management, IT assistance, health and safety support and assisting other departments when needed. Using your excellent attention to detail and organisational skills you will take ownership of the role, acting as a point of call and providing crucial support with the scope to progress across the business if desired.

Key Duties:

  • Welcome visitors and handle telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitor meeting room calendars, booking and preparing boardrooms for meetings
  • Complete copy/audio typing and maintain office data
  • Ensure reception areas and meeting rooms are clean and tidy
  • Assist with administrative tasks to support departments across the organisation
  • Carry out general ad-hoc office duties, projects, and activities as required
  • Handle, distribute and prepare incoming and outgoing post
  • Handle client files and records, including courier runs between offices and client premises, including courier runs between offices and client premises
  • Perform data entry and regular quality checks on filing systems
  • Manage and organise storage and archive rooms
  • Assisting outsourced IT company when required
  • Support the Office Manager and Health & Safety officer with H&S duties as required

About you:

  • No previous experience required, just a can do positive attitude
  • High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Strong deadline management and prioritisation abilities
  • Initiative and team work skills
  • Proactive resourceful mindset
  • Ability to assist with physical work, moving boxes and IT equipment
  • Basic IT Knowledge
