  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

We are seeking a Supply Chain/ Planning Analyst to support the Planning & Strategy Manager in the development and execution of both tactical and strategic plans. This role is integral to ensuring data-driven decision-making and will involve working closely with key partners and stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a lead role within projects to deliver an agile, efficient store distribution service and a home delivery capability to support our growth plans.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Create and manage detailed operational budget models and ongoing operational forecasts in collaboration with Finance Business Partners.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed Distribution Centre (DC) capacity module to manage space allocation and usage by trading world & category.
  • Proactively work with merchandise managers to ensure space occupancy is within agreed limits and coordinate remedial activities where necessary.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, freight forwarders, and DC operations teams to create and execute robust weekly inbound plans, reporting progress and variances to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modelling to support the function and wider business, providing insights for data-driven actions.
  • Work with Business Intelligence partners to simplify & automate business processes and develop Power BI reports.
  • Scope, analyse, and document projects up to the business case sign-off stage, in conjunction with the Planning & Strategy Manager & Key Business Stakeholders.
  • Lead planning & strategy projects as a functional expert during the delivery phase, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist the Planning & Strategy Manager in the development and implementation of the function's strategic plans & programme.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within a retail-led supply chain, logistics and distribution network, specifically in a Planning & Analysis capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse & logistics operations.
  • Highly analytical with an adaptable approach to a fast-paced, changing retail landscape.
  • Proactive individual with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
