A Kent law firm have a position for a full-time Insurance Recovery Handler based initially at their office in Orpington with the option for hybrid working following a settling in period. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating claims on behalf of insurers in order to recover compensation relating to road traffic accidents.
Role involves:
- Managing and processing insurance claims from first notification of the accident
- Investigate claims by gathering evidence such as police reports and CCTV footage to support liability decisions
- Updating the firms and insurers case management systems as to progress
- Liaising with relevant parties such as the insurer, policy holder and solicitors on a regular basis
- Be the point of call for the claim, answering calls and dealing with queries as they arise
Required skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Prior office admin experience beneficial
- Any prior claims experience a bonus but not essential as full training can be given
