Digital Marketing Specialist

Broster Buchanan are partnered with a FTSE 250 business in the corporate events/exhibitions space who are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Specialist due to continued business growth. This is an exciting new role at a growing business and is a mix of digital marketing, project management and business partnering.

The role is being offered on an FTC basis until the end of the year with the view to take the person onboard permanently after, although this isn't guaranteed. On offer is a salary of £45k - £55k (pro rata) and a flexible working pattern with the ideal person working onsite once per week in their central London office and the rest remote, although there is some flexibility on this.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Project Manager and the relevant Brand and CRM Support Team members to translate requirements involving Adobe Marketo in the lead process for Contagious and co-ordinate activity for the relevant work streams and ensure all activities are delivered to schedule
  • Initiating campaign/programme kick-off sessions with contributors and stakeholders across the business including but not limited to: product marketing, content, design, marketing performance & automation and data
  • Working with the Marketing Automation team to ensure accurate audience lists are defined and constructed in line with campaign or programme goals
  • Ensuring campaign delivery is on track with any blockers/slippage escalated
  • Providing regular periodic status reports tracking campaign/programme initiatives against deadline and support ad hoc "light" data requests as needed
  • Ensuring creative and digital assets (such as: emails, display ads, social ads, landing pages, microsites, ATL ads, event collateral, webinars,) are delivered on time, and to specification for activation
  • Ownership of accurate application naming conventions and UTM provision for Marketo programs and assets, for consistency and ease of reporting
  • Working with the team to develop a framework for asset management and documenting learnings from programmes/campaigns

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a blended skillset of marketing project management, digital marketing and business partnering with the ability to manage and challenge stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with marketing to the B2B audience, particularly with advertisers, agencies and publishers both at company (ABM) and individual level
  • A data-driven mindset and the ability to strategise with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns
  • Exposure to direct marketing tactics, including email, webinars, sponsorships, trade shows, mobile and use of third-party data sources
  • An excellent communicator who is able to explain complex items to various stakeholders and understand projects that have different analytical goals and needs
  • Marketo knowledge is a must and Salesforce knowledge is a very nice to have
