Job Description:
Position: Management Accountant
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, cost management, credit and risk management, asset management, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of month-end management accounts and P&L reporting pack.
Assist with AR customer credit approvals, AR reporting, and weekly meetings.
Monitor and update monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversee the fixed asset reconciliation, ensuring all Capex approvals align with company processes.
Assist with annual budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
Prepare the HMRC VAT reporting and reconciliation on a quarterly basis.
Oversee the HMRC import duty data, ensuring the accuracy of reported import data reconciles with NetSuite purchasing and accruals data.
Contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Be flexible in respect of company needs and assist others where necessary.
Assist with ad-hoc duties and projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
