Location: London -Hybrid- with 20% to 40% office

Job Description:

The client has an in-house test governance function that interacts with the project and business teams on their QA requirements. This role will be responsible for leading the Performance and Test automation streams in the governance function, interacting with the project and business teams as well as the vendor organisations as needed for specific performance testing and test automation requirements.

Stakeholder Management - understand and translate the business/project team's requirements into technical directions for the vendor teams.

Risk Management - Identify and manage potential risks to ensure business expectations from new products are met and issues during production rollouts are minimised.

Test Strategy - Develop robust strategies for Performance and Test Automation considering the products and applications in the landscape and the strategic direction the client organisation has decided to follow. Gather support from all stakeholders in agreeing and implementing the strategy.

Project Management - Oversee projects such as iManage Cloud, Exchange Online, Intapp Time, Terms, Intake and others. Ensure successful deployment and performance.

Test Stream expansion - For performance testing, identify live target applications that may benefit from ongoing monitoring to understand behaviour trends over extended periods. Develop a 3-year strategic roadmap including technology, way of working, and improvement areas.

Innovation - Leverage the latest trends and technology available in the market for improvements in the QA processes. Leverage OpenAI (GPT) capabilities for QA and testing (e.g. test strategies, automation etc)

  • Hands on expertise on Tricentis toolset including NeoLoad and Tosca.
  • Experience in leading strategically important test automation initiatives for large customers.
  • Experience in formalising automation approach, ROI calculation, prioritisation of applications and requirements
  • Proven experience in complex performance testing requirements, including other non-functional requirements
  • Strong understanding of cloud products, particularly Azure
  • Strong foundation on leading performance test applications and utilities e.g., Neoload, LoadRunner and monitoring tools, as well as leading functional test automation tools e.g. Tosca. Ability to code utilities and wrappers is desirable.
  • Experience working on AI or AI-augmented applications. OpenAI is preferred, but comparable systems are acceptable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mimic end user experiences accurately.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and effectively manage vendors.
  • Experience using Rally and Azure Test Plan is desirable. But experience in comparable test and defect management systems are acceptable.
