Leeds with 50/50 hybrid options

£30-35K + Company Bonus

Our client are a globally renowned brand supporting their key demographic with their market leading products for decades. Their commitment to quality means they are a world class trusted brand within the healthcare community.

As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be joining a small team in this newly created position within the UK. You will assist the Director with establishing and implementing vital processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison: Coordinate with internal New Product Development (NPD) teams and external regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with market-specific requirements.
  • Review & Approval: Oversee and approve artwork and labelling, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Updates: Keep the business informed about changes in regulations impacting product sales and exports.
  • Detail-Oriented Tasks: Perform detailed research, data entry, and presentations in this heavily regulated industry.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: 1-3 years in the medical device or cosmetic industry with a background in regulatory affairs.
  • Education: Life science or engineering degree (or similar).
  • Skills: Proven experience with labelling requirements for medical devices or cosmetics. Strong attention to detail and a hardworking nature are essential.
