The Pricing Analyst Role

The Pricing Analyst, reports to the Sales Support Manager, assists Sales company management with strategic pricing actions implementation. The main job purpose is to collect, analyse and evaluate data to support the organization's pricing and maximize the profitability of the company. Also responsible for managing and executing the pricing process for our customers.

Pricing Analyst main duties

  • Support with implementation of price and discount changes
  • Implement PFEC (Plan for Every Customer) in line with corporate guidelines
  • Maintain integrity of Item Pricing Groups to ensure accurate discounts by customer and part number
  • Analyse impact of discount structure changes
  • Run regular and adhoc analysis to measure pricing effectiveness and to support the overall business strategy
  • Assist with quote P75, win rate and quote follow-up analysis to drive win rate improvements
  • Ensure pricing and quoting processes are well understood and applied consistently across the organisation
  • Support customer service, field sales and division colleagues with any pricing related requests

Experience / Skill Requirements

Essential

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. As a minimum able to vlookup, pivot tables and ability to combine data from different sources
  • University Degree
  • Advanced experience on Pricing
  • Good experience of interaction with Sales Company's Customer Support and Sales Team

Desirable

  • Power Bi desirable
  • Ability to work with Siebel I2O and JDE queries
