Power BI Finance Analyst - Insurance

Role Overview:
We're looking for a dynamic Power BI Finance Analyst who thrives on continuous improvement and is eager to challenge the status quo. This role is pivotal in serving the Group's financial reporting needs while building strong partnerships across the broader Finance team and various business units. As the company evolves under new leadership, the focus is on enhancing and accelerating financial reporting capabilities through advanced data visualisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver insightful enhancements to the financial reporting methodology and provide analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
- Utilise tools such Power BI and Tableau to create compelling visualisations that communicate financial process improvements effectively.
- Partner closely with finance teams in order to implement enhanced improvements to ways of working.
- Play a crucial role in the company's growth by supporting senior leadership during a critical transition period.
What You Bring:
- Ideally Part Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Genuine expertise in Power BI or other visulisation tools such as Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
- Good level of Excel modeling ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with business partnering experience.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
