We are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for a reputable organisation based in Warwickshire on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the Purchasing & Order Processing functions to deliver excellent customer service through efficient and effective processes
- Managing, motivating and developing the team of 5 to take ownership of the team objectives
- Identifying and implement process improvements including working with other departmental managers to change and improve business-wide processes
- Checking production capacity, scheduling orders and generating order confirmations for customers
- Sourcing equipment, goods and services as well as leading on strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of the above duties
- Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate within the business and with customers
- Leadership and team management skills
- Have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
