Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of residential property transactions, including buying, selling, and mortgaging of residential properties. They will work closely with the conveyancing team to deliver high-quality services to clients and contribute to the growth and development of the residential property practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct residential property transactions, including buying, selling, and mortgaging of residential properties
  • Advise clients on all aspects of residential property transactions, including drafting contracts, handling settlements, and negotiating with other parties
  • Identify and mitigate risks in transactions, including conducting due diligence and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for managing transactions and resolving issues
  • Provide excellent client service, responding promptly to client inquiries and communicating effectively throughout the transaction process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and client communications
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the residential property practice by identifying opportunities for business development and implementing new initiatives
  • Build and maintain a strong client base through excellent client service and networking

Requirements:

  • 5 years PQE
  • Strong understanding of the residential property market and relevant laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks in transactions
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Existing client base or strong networking skills to build new relationships
