Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield, Primary School
Position Type: Full-Time (5 days a week)

About: Tradewind Recruitment are working with a small and friendly primary school in North Sheffield, that is dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. The school is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team for the next academic year. The role could be based in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
- Supervise children during break times and activities.
- Encourage positive behavior and support the social and emotional development of pupils.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- A genuine passion for primary education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
