The One Group are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a highly reputable, global business within Peterborough on a full time, 9 month contract.
This role sits within a busy team where you will play a pivotal part in the success of the business and would suit someone who can work off their own initiative as well as having an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting - Preparation of weekly submissions and month end reporting
- Analysis - Reconciling actual spend to weekly management accounts and Forecast/Budget
- Reconciliations - Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations and monthly commentary, Investigating GRNI balances and parked/blocked invoices
- Business Partnering - Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc queries and meeting with stakeholders to understand drivers for variances
- Capitalisation of Fixed Assets and ad hoc support to CapEx team
Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills - essential
- AAT or studying towards ACCA/CIMA - preferred but not essential
- Strong Analysis skills - essential
