Our client is a leading private equity fund management company in London. They are looking for a trainee with a good understanding/experience of bookkeeping to join their team as an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be working in a team servicing a private equity fund manager.
Duties include:
- Monthly bookkeeping
- Preparing quarterly management accounts - and sending these out to the Fund's investors
- Assisting the accountant with audited financials and helping oversee the audit process
- Drawdowns / distribution calculation and notices sent to investors
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years bookkeeping experience
- Good understanding of double entries
- Strong Excel & Word skills
