We are working with a wonderful provider of social care services for children and young people, looking for an experienced Support Worker to join their existing team across the Manchester area.
On their behalf, we are seeking to identify a passionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join their 9 bedded leaving care home.
As a Support Worker you will be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for the young people within your care. We are looking for experienced individuals dedicated to providing a high standard of care and support to these disadvantaged young people.
Successful applicants will have previous experience working with care leavers, be an enthusiastic individual who is invested in helping to make a difference.
Support Workers must be resilient and open-minded, for work with these young people who can be both verbally and physically challenging at times, as a result of their often traumatic backgrounds. Potential candidates will be subject to a vigorous screening process including references and enhanced DBS checks.
This is a temporary position, with potential to become a permanent role working a variety of shifts across 7 days to include sleeps and weekends.
