At Harnham, we are currently hiring for our 2024 graduate scheme.
Our graduate scheme includes a training program that is delivered by our industry-leading learning and development team alongside our managers. During the training, you will get to grips with your specific market within data and analytics, progress along our consultant development track, and excel in the world of recruitment.
During June and August, we will welcome a group of graduates who will go through the training program together.

- Recruitment Consultant
- Senior Recruitment Consultant
- Principal/Managing Recruitment Consultant
At the end of their first two years, the majority of our graduates will have earned their second promotion and will then be able to plan out the direction they want their career to go in within Harnham!
One of the main focuses of our graduate training program is progression, our promotion system is target based and on average people get their first promotion in 9 to 11 months. At Harnham, you will have weekly and monthly meetings with your manager so they can support your journey through the program and help you reach your targets and succeed.
Recruitment:
Working as a recruitment consultant means that you will be working with clients from the world of data and analytics and working with them in order to fill any vacancies they may have.
The candidates you will be working with will have specific and sought-after experience and qualifications and at Harnham, you will become an expert in finding the perfect candidate for your clients.
The role would include:
- Business Development – Actively bringing in new business to the company through cold-calling and networking, selling your recruitment services as well as Harnham's.
- Candidate Sourcing – Sourcing the best candidates for the job through posting on job boards and headhunting people with the required skills.
- Process/Account Management – Preparing candidates for interviews, checking in with both candidates and clients, and making sure the process runs smoothly.
- Placement Negotiations – Closing the deal when a candidate is offered the job, ensuring they get the best offer, and then earning commission.
Commission:
As a Recruitment Consultant at Harnham you will be earning commission on any candidate that you place, this commission will be a percentage of the deal fee that you will negotiate with the client.
We have a competitive commission structure that is uncapped and has no threshold which means that as soon as you place your first candidate you will begin earning commission. Although a lot of graduates won't have worked with commission before, it is one of the best benefits that we offer as it gives you the opportunity to vastly increase your monthly salary.
On average our graduates will earn £13 – 18k in commission during their first year at Harnham (this brings the OTE to £35-40k including the base salary)
