Secondary school Exams Officer (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

The Role:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Exams Officer to join our administrative team starting in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and efficient administration of all aspects of the school's examination processes. This is a crucial role, ensuring that our students have the best possible experience during their exam periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating all internal and external examinations.

Liaising with exam boards, school staff, and students to ensure accurate and timely communication.

Managing exam timetables, seating arrangements, and the invigilation schedule.

Ensuring compliance with all examination regulations and procedures.

Processing and distributing exam results.

Maintaining secure and organised storage of examination materials.

Providing support and guidance to students regarding exam procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

SIMS experience and knowledge of school admin systems

Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with exams administration (preferred but not essential).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
