Account Director - CRM

Major Players are working with a leading integrated agency who are seeking an Account Director to lead their team in creating powerful and impactful CRM content. This role requires strategic thinking, client service, and creative skills, along with an active role in identifying new business opportunities to drive growth. The Account Director will oversee projects from concept to completion, providing the necessary direction and control. Based in South Manchester, this role will be hybrid/onsite embedded within the client organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Business Director and take overall financial control of accounts, including profitability, accurate forecasting, late payment management, and fee negotiation. Provide regular and timely reports to the Business Director.
  • Plan digital projects from initial stages through to final delivery.
  • Manage projects from beginning to end, ensuring clear communication on milestones, targets, goals, and deadlines.
  • Oversee the execution of projects, run rates, and client satisfaction through regular catch-ups with job owners and weekly account/project management meetings.
  • Accountable for the delivery of growth targets for the account.
  • Understand the email delivery process from creative brief through to data brief, build, and broadcast.
  • Possess experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Understand the Direct Mail delivery process, including design/artwork requirements for print and print proofing.
  • Oversee the project's financial budget, notify stakeholders of key cost implications, budget changes, spending, and cost adjustments.
  • Identify new business opportunities through relationships and introduce relevant capabilities where appropriate.
  • Work within a team of 7-10 members.
  • Collaborate across CRM products and services.

Requirements:

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients, building strong and effective working relationships.
  • Exceptional project management skills to serve as the product owner working with clients.
  • Proven track record of commercial growth across new and existing business.
  • First-rate communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities and an innate ability to build rapport.
  • Ability to manage and develop junior team members.
  • Ability to integrate with a client-side team while maintaining top-tier agency service.
