CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a well-established SME based in Poole, Dorset, who have the requirement to hire an Interim Management Accountant to cover maternity. This position is being hired on a three day per week basis, with one day remote working and is expected to last for nine months. The successful candidate will work as part of a small finance team whilst reporting to the Financial Controller.
What will the Interim Management Accountant involve?
- Support with the production of monthly consolidated accounts;
- Preparation of financial accounts for inclusion within the statutory reports;
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and monthly intrastat;
- Analysis focussing on sales profitability including communication to relevant non-finance stakeholders;
- Support the wider finance function with ad hoc reporting dependant on business requirements.
Suitable Candidate for the Interim Management Accountant vacancy:
- An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential;
- Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally on an interim basis.
