Vehicle Mechanic
Leicester, UK
Pay Rate: £18 p/h
8-5pm Mon – Fri
Role Purpose: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test vehicle status.
- Strip, replace, and repair units per work instructions.
- Assess components for fitness.
- Build and test products as per manufacturer instructions.
- Report faults to the Workshop Supervisor.
General Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outside core hours occasionally.
- Travel to other Exsel sites and overseas as needed.
- Must meet UK government security vetting criteria.
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to health and safety procedures.
- Use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Report any health and safety issues promptly.
Competencies & Skills:
- Valid driving licence.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics.
