As part of our commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated Fabric Engineer to join our team.
- *Position Overview:**
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the fabric of the building. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of these facilities. You will work with a supportive team and have access to a company van to facilitate your commute to and from work.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building fabric, including walls, floors, ceilings, and more.
- Carry out repairs and replacements as needed to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the facilities.
- Conduct reactive maintenance to address urgent issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any outstanding issues to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- *Qualifications and Skills:**
- Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer or a similar role is preferred.
- A wide skill set, including expertise in various fabric-related tasks, such as painting, plastering, tiling, and basic carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
