Are you looking for an exceptional opportunity to join a world-class team in the manufacturing industry? Our client a leading global organisation, is seeking a full time manufacturing packing operative to join their team on the 2nd September, 2024. This position could become Permanent after 12 weeks. Pay rate is £11.86 per hour.
As a Secondary Manufacturing Operator, you will play a crucial role in the filling and packing of materials, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained at all times. You will also be responsible for preparing laboratory equipment for use in the production areas. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that values performance, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Production Operating Instructions (POIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within required timescales.
- Maintain quality standards for all work performed.
- Adhere to department and company procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure calibration of equipment according to SOPs.
- Recognise and report problems and deviations.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs across the site.
Requirements:
- GCSE standard of education, or equivalent, with a focus on English and Maths.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
- Ability to undertake physical activities and operate various pieces of equipment.
- Collaborative individual with a flexible and optimistic attitude towards work.
- Basic IT skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in packing roles or operating machinery is desirable.
