Our client provides Facilities Management across the Greater Manchester area. This people-focused employer has a 750-strong workforce and is on the lookout for a HR Business Partner to join the team based in Stockport. This position is ideally suited to a Senior HR Advisor looking to progress to HRBP level and the scope of the role with develop further over time. More about the role:

  • You will help deliver HR initiatives in line with the people plan, working with the Senior HR team to input into strategic plans whilst maintaining an operational HR focus
  • Involvement in/leading on HR projects and the design/delivery of policies and procedures
  • This role offers fantastic exposure to a wide range of HR activities and the opportunity to be hands-on with the operational teams.
  • You'll be an integral part of the supportive HR team, collaborating with them daily
  • Dealing with complex ER issues and providing guidance to the HR Advisor on lower-level ER cases. Working together on investigations and hearings where appropriate.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to managers

About you:

  • Ideally, you're working towards or have achieved CIPD Level 3 (or 5) certification.
  • Face-to-face HR experience is highly desirable
  • Active involvement in areas such as sickness management and well-being.
  • Confidence is key - we're seeking someone outgoing and assured.
  • You'll be working closely with operational staff, so having an air of confidence is essential.
