Head of Property Manager

Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Property Manager who is an expert in property management with a proven track record in the industry. The role will require giving a lot of support, guidance and training to a new team. The Head of Property Manager needs to be ARLA qualified with a full, clean driving licence.

Basic GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum
Commission: GBP7,000 - GBP9,000 (paid monthly based on KPIs)
OTE GBP37,000 - GBP44,000 per annum

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 6pm
Saturdays 9am - 5pm, 1 in 4 rota
Office based in High Wycombe

The main responsibilities of the Head of Property Manager are:

  • Working alongside the Lettings Director in delivering exceptional customer service across all revenue streams and KPIs ensuring that the department is run in line with the business plan.
  • Drive business growth and maximise new commercial and revenue opportunities within the business whilst maintaining the current client base.
  • Jointly responsible for the daily running of the property management team.
  • Manages own portfolio and all aspects of a property manager role to the highest standard in line with Head of Property Manager role profile and KPIs.
  • Attend management meetings on behalf of PM team as & when required.
  • Jointly responsible for the office delivering in all target areas as set out in monthly one-to-ones.
  • Deliver motivational and detailed morning meetings demonstrating clarity of business needs with clear goals set and reviewed daily.
  • Inspire the team by leading by example and motivate all staff actively by managing their development through continual mentoring, coaching, training and one-to-ones to also improve performance.
  • Create and maintain a positive work focused environment.
  • Working with all staff to ensure exceptional customer service levels are maintained at all times.
  • To assist the Lettings Director in providing monthly management reports and providing staff with monthly task reports.
  • Ensure all staff follow company processes by completing relevant check lists and weekly monitoring.
  • Ensures team follows house rules, current legislation and makes sure that the business is kept compliant and financially safe at all times.
  • Review individuals performances conducting end of month reviews with staff.
  • Identify and execute additional tasks in order to meet office goals and ensure that team members take responsibility and accountability for seeing task through to completion.

The requirements of the Head of Property Manager are:

  • Have a thorough understanding of property management and current/prospective legislation.
  • Highly self-motivated - driven to achieve results.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills both telephone and face to face.
  • Able to communicate accurately and concisely using written communication.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous property management experience with a minimum of 2 years management experience.
  • Demonstrates great proficiency in dealing with clients and colleagues in difficult situations e.g. handling complaints and negotiations tactfully and to achieve resolution.
  • Excellent personal presentation and conduct.
  • Excellent time management skills with the willingness to arrive early/stay late.
  • Able to multi-task and maintain composure under external and internal pressures.
  • Intermediate IT skills including accurate keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Good general administration and organisational skills.
  • The ability to influence, persuade and coach their team.
  • Fosters team spirit whilst nurturing their individuals and recognising difference.
  • Builds effective relationships by using diplomacy and tact and can diffuse high tension situations comfortably.
  • Problem solving abilities.
