Pricing Delivery Analyst
Location: Bupa Place, Manchester - Hybrid working with one day in office per week
Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 Hours per week
Salary: £32,400 DOE per annum & fantastic benefits

Working within our busy Commercial Underwriting and Pricing Team you will be an analyst responsible for the pricing of UK Corporate Private Medical Insurance (PMI) schemes within agreed guidelines, considering their risk and strategic characteristics. You will join a team of experienced analysts who will be able to support you and provide you with the necessary guidance and training required for the role.
What you'll do:
- Produce quotes for PMI schemes to ensure accurate and competitive terms are created.
- Analyse historical insurance claims data to support future forecasting and trends.
- Review and analyse market information which may impact on our pricing.
- Make commercial decisions within Bupa's framework.
- Work closely with Bupa Sales and Commercial Finance teams to enable new business success and the retention of our existing portfolio of clients.
- Provide support and justifications to relevant stakeholders to develop an understanding of our pricing policies.
What you'll bring:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Strong numerical and technical skills are essential.
- Previous experience in an underwriting, pricing or commercial role is desirable.
- Intermediate level MS Excel skills.
- Proven experience in managing relationships with stakeholders and influencing/challenging them.
- Ability to understand and interpret data and risk trends.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to challenge requirements, see things from a different perspective, and explore new directions.
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise a demanding workload to meet strict deadlines.
