Financial Controller

4 week temporary assignment, may extend

Up to £33.33 per hour

Hours - 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00 Friday

Office based - Earls Barton, Northampton

This is working for a business that has grown significantly in recent years, we are looking for an established Financial Controller who can help with the day to day and month end. We need someone who can hit the ground running who is an expert in their field, you must be ACCA qualified.

Duties

  • Manage finance and accounting operations
  • Manage budget, forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare accounts payable payments
  • Monthly financial reports
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analysing costs of projects
  • Monthend reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations

Skills Required

  • Previous experience as a Financial Controller or Management Accountant is essential
  • Must be ACCA qualified
  • Ideally will have experience using Xero or Sage
  • Intermediate user Excel
  • Must have experience with problem solving
  • Experience of year end statutory accounts and what goes into them
