Tradewind is currently looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Reception Teacher for our lovely client school in Salford.

Position: Reception Teacher

Contract: September 2024

Location: Salford

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £140 - £210 per day, subject to experience

This 'Good', two-form entry school prides itself on building an inclusive and nurturing education environment for all students to succeed in.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with SEND
  • Utilise Phonics schemes of work such as Monster Phonics to foundation learning
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing feedback
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support student development

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience teaching in EYFS
  • Confident in planning and delivering creative and scaffolded lessons
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for teaching!
