A well-established family boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join its team in Cheam, Surrey. Role Overview:
The Family Solicitor will manage a broad caseload, including:
- Divorce, separation, and high-net-worth financial settlements
- Private children matters, including residence and contact disputes
- Cohabitation agreements and disputes
- Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
- Domestic abuse cases
- Working with high-net-worth individuals and families
Responsibilities:
- Providing clear, practical, and sensitive advice to clients through challenging circumstances
- Independently managing a demanding caseload with confidence
- Collaborating to resolve family disputes with a focus on clients' and children's best interests
- Supporting the department's growth through business development and networking
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years' PQE in Family Law, including experience with complex financial and children matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A client-focused approach and a commitment to constructive resolution
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage cases independently
- Strong business development track record
