Location: St Helens, Merseyside

Salary: £40-60k per annum + benefits

Job Type/Hours: Full-time (hybrid working)

About The Company:

Our client is a highly profitable national recruitment consultancy, working across both the public and private sector. The client provides solutions for permanent bespoke recruitment across a range of sectors including construction, healthcare and engineering. With the business growing year on year (and a recent office move as a result!), and ambitious growth plans for the future they are looking bring on board a talented Recruitment Director who can establish a new sector for the organisation.

Recruitment Director - The Role:

The successful candidate will define and lead the strategic direction for a new permanent recruitment division for the business. They are open to the sector this division will operate such as technology, IT or Finance.

The role will report to the Managing Director and will suit somebody with a solid understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and experience of managing key relationships, both client and candidate-side. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven individual to play a pivotal role in driving further business growth and have a direct impact on its success.

Recruitment Director – Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director to define the business plan and strategic direction for the division
  • Lead business by developing relationships with clients and placing candidates into permanent vacancies
  • Design and execute accurate and effective sales strategies, forecasts, and plans to facilitate achievement of set targets
  • Manage existing customers to reduce attrition as well as actively seeking additional revenue opportunities

Recruitment Director – You:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role running a permanent recruitment division.
  • Experience and credibility selling into new identified key markets (e.g. finance and accountancy, legal and IT)
  • Previous success managing a team to achieve set targets
  • Accurate sales forecasting skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
