  • Full time, flexible hours (9:15am - 3:00pm) open to negotiation
  • Permanent position
  • £23,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience

The role

Our client is seeking an Finance Administrator to play a crucial role in their finance team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Accounts mailbox, handle office calls, and manage customer and supplier queries
  • Record and reconcile sales and purchase invoices, bank statements, and cash postings using Hubdoc and Xero
  • Manage contacts, onboard new suppliers, and customers, and ensure timely communication
  • Distribute customer statements, update debtor listings, chase late payments, and prepare supplier invoices for weekly payment runs
  • Assist with VAT returns, month/year-end reporting, stock takes, and monthly management reporting packs

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar accounts or administrative role
  • Proficiency with Xero and Hubdoc software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
