Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Machine Operative to work in their leading facility in Deeside . For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:
- £12.66 per hour , plus shift allowance on night shift (hours worked from 10pm-6am are paid at £14.21 p/h)
- Shift Rotation Monday till Thursday 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am
- Temp to Perm position
- On site parking
- Long weekend every week.
The role –Machine Operative :
- Run seasoning system which includes managing oil, on-head seasoning, and weight-head systems
- Run extruder system managing the cutters, milling system and dryer system.
- Run our pellet fryer, managing the infeed, oil management & distribution systems.
- Optimize processes through yield improvements, waste reduction & other efficiency gains
- Work as part of an end to end production line, ensuring high quality, cost effective production
- Check product quality to make sure we send the best snacks out to our customers
- Help with product change overs, by cleaning down machinery and changing packaging
What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative :
- Minimum 2 years experience of operating machinery- ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience of working in a food production environment - ESSENTIAL
- Demonstrable amount of experience in a Manufacturing role.
