We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a Not for Profit organisation on a 12 month FTC, based in Blackpool.

Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform financial analysis and present findings to management
- Build relationships with stakeholders
- Account reconciliation
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Support the budget planning and management process
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Contribute to developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A solid foundation in Accounting & Finance principles and practices
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Offer
