Over the years, we have worked closely with numerous businesses in across South Lanarkshire and have successfully improved their business operations.
We are on the lookout for an Office Support Apprentice who has a keen interest in accountancy as this is a great place to kick-start your career!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • With full training you will become an expert on internal systems such as Iris for timesheets
  • Learn to process documents thought SAGE Line 50 such as invoices
  • Utilise collaborative tech such Sage Cloud for accessing book-keeping data
  • Communicate - using Microsoft Word for drafting letters to our clients
  • Learn to become a Pro in Excel - you will use this for creating client records
  • Build key relationships with internal/external stakeholders using email
  • Act as the first response when someone calls the office and directing the calls to correct person

What You Need to Succeed:

  • A positive attitude towards work and learning
  • Organised – you will enjoy keeping track of information and completing tasks
  • You will be interested in Accountancy
  • Teamwork – you should enjoy working in a team
  • Motivated and willing to take initiative

Salary:
£14,000 per annum.

Working week:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm,

Future prospects:
Progression can be what you make it - if your interest is admin, you could progress to PA and interest in accountancy can progress to payroll administrators, book-keeping and accountants.

Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work. They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
