Main Job Duties:
- Supply chain management: Managing procurement, shipping, and operations in the supply chain
- Inventory control: Ensuring inventory is accurate, organized, and sufficient to meet demand
- Warehousing: Overseeing warehousing operations
- Budget analysis: Analyzing budgets
- Developing strategies: Developing new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs
- Meeting commitments: Ensuring that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
- Management of the Team.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Post Brexit Regulatory and Compliance requirements
- Full understanding of Tariff Classification systems
- Ability to navigate through various Free Trade Agreements
- Great attention to detail to mitigate any risk of non-compliance
- Familiar with shipping import and export documents
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook and good understanding of Microsoft Visio
- General knowledge of Trade Compliance in UK and rest of the world.
- Experience in various Customs Procedures e.g. Inward/Outward Processing, Temporary Exports
- Be able to work independently and as part of cross functional team
- Previous experience of applying and maintaining AEO status
