  • Location: Greenford, London
  • Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days WFH after 3 months successful probation period. Working hours 8.30am -4.30pm ( 30 mins lunch)
  • Salary: Competitive with 15% KPI related bonus

An exciting new opportunity with the FMCG industry, as I am looking for a dynamic Credit Control Manager with current experience to support our clients' ambitious growth plans. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a progressive food business, reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager.

Day-to-day of the role:

As Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing cash collections' and debt control for around £2 million a month with a team of 3 credit controllers
  • Oversee CIFS Credit Insurance and manage a small ledger of high-profile customers.
  • Conduct management reporting and debt analysis.
  • Coach and develop your team, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Support sales and customer service team functions.
  • Engage in various projects and manage business Reception with 1 direct report.
  • Ensure effective debt collection strategies are in place and adhered to.
  • Working closely with the AP team and other departments

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • MICM qualified, or studying towards ICM or have completed some modules of ICM
  • Energetic, passionate and positive with a growth mindset and a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel; Power BI knowledge is a bonus.
  • Understanding of VAT and Credit Insurance.
  • Experienced as a Credit Control Manager or Credit Control Supervisor. Management of a small team including 1-1's and appraisals
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and knowledge of litigation processes.
  • A self-starter with a detail-focused approach and supervisory experience.
