Zenith People are working with our client who are a North-East Manufacturer looking to recruit an experienced Senior Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
Working with the Research & Development facility, this is a key role within the business and will involve the following:-
- Design, calculations and analysis using software.
- Reviewing, verifying and approving engineering documentation to ensure that it meets business Quality Standards
- Generation & Development of design rules, drawings, reports, analyses, calculations, instructions, procedures, specifications, design plans and any other documentation associated with the product.
- Offer support to other Design Engineers helping them to achieve their objectives.
- Liaising directly with both external and internal clients, manufacturers & suppliers to finalise designs.
- Analyse and comment on customer requirements, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Carry out regular design reviews to ensure the maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness is being achieved.
- Any other tasks required to support a busy Manufacturing Plant
Essential Qualifications & Experience Required
- Degree or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
- Proven experience in Engineer Research
- Strong Mathematical problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in using AutoCAD, Pro - Engineer, Mathcad, FE software.
- Integrity and detect assessment experience is advantage.
- Previous experienced working as a Senior Designer or Design Engineer in Manufacturing is essential.
