Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals.
- Handle tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and managing waste.
- Help with the storage and rotation of food supplies to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Provide support to the kitchen team with various tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
