My client is a Brent based primary school, proud of its longstanding links to the community and its position as a school of choice.
The post of School Business Manager is crucial to the ongoing success of the school and will lead on the non-teaching side of the school. The role is assisted by a strong support staff team, sits on the senior leadership team and will work very closely with the Headteacher.
The main areas of the role focus on:
- Management the school's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee the school's human resources, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to support the school's strategic objectives.
- Line management of the school office and other non-academic support staff
- Organisational tasks, and support to the Headteacher and Governing Body, on all areas of school management
- Overseeing of Health and Safety throughout the school
- Line management of Premises staff
Candidates with previous school business manager experience are sought, with a particular strength required on the budgeting and day to day financial management. Any formal qualifications relating to the job would enhance your application, but not essential. Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a good sense of humour would go a long way!
The role is offered as a 52 week, full time position.
