Job Description
- Subcontract and Tender Procurement:
- Execute procurement processes for projects and central team, aligning with P&SCM strategy and procedures.
- Contribute to amendments/variations of P&SCM strategy as needed.
- Preparation and Evaluation:
- Prepare ITTs, obtain quotations/tenders, and manage subcontracts.
- Compile and analyze supplier responses for adjudication.
- Conduct supplier evaluations for returned bids.
- Negotiations and Recommendations:
- Lead supplier negotiations and post-tender meetings to shortlist suppliers.
- Prepare order/contract award recommendations.
- Reporting and Monitoring:
- Manage reporting for procurement activities, including spend forecasting, supplier performance, and improvement plans.
- Resolve supply chain issues with project delivery teams.
- Ensure compliance with mandated supply chain agreements.
- Monitor supply market for new suppliers/products and innovations.
Procurement Specialist
Essential Experience/ Qualifications
- Strong numeracy, organizational, and communication skills
- Substantial project and central buying experience in a project environment
- Proven track record in leading subcontracts and ITT procurement processes
- Ability to establish long-term, performance-led supplier relationships
- Computer literate
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
