I am working on an exciting opportunity for a NQ Court of Protection solicitor to join a thriving and highly regarded team in Warwick.
My client are looking for an ambitious and hard working individual to join the team, take on a caseload of CoP health and welfare matters, and continue their development working alongside a highly skilled and experienced team consisting of a partner, a senior solicitor, and experienced paralegals.
The successful candidate will have:
- a strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Capacity Code of Practice and Court of Protection Rules
- Excellent organisation skills, and the ability to work to tight court deadlines
- An understanding and previous dealing with Legal Aid matters
- The ability to work well within a close-knit team
The nature of work means that clients will regularly be in a sensitive and distressing situation, so a personable, calm and empathetic personality with great communication and client care skills are of the utmost importance.
Salary from £30000-£50000 depending on experience.
