A prestigious higher education institution based in London undergoing a major transformation within its finance team.
The Role:
As Head of Accounts Receivable, you will lead and guide the Student Fees and AR team.
- You will oversee the entire tuition fee billing process, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- You will proactively address and resolve student fee queries, providing clear and supportive guidance to enhance the student experience.
- You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships internally ensuring seamless coordination and support.
- Expertly manage the processing of deposits, bursaries, scholarships, and loans, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- You will also ensure the prompt and precise processing of cash allocations, ledger postings, and month-end reconciliations, contributing significantly to the financial stability and success of the university.
The Successful Candidate:
- Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIPFA) or in progress
- Strong management ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build strong working relationships
- Experience managing billing and credit control, and supervising teams in a university or similar environment
- Proficiency in financial systems, Word, and Excel
