Description
- Coordinate and monitor international shipments from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to resolve any issues related to shipping and logistics.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to meet client requirements and resolve any delivery issues.
- Implement and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
