Clinical Nurse Specialist Eating Disorder

Our client is the NHS foundation Trust. The EDS CYP Intensive Community Treatment Service is an extension of the core EDS CAMHS team, providing an alternative to hospital admission. The service is designed to enable children and young people (CYP) to remain at home, supported by their families and caregivers.
Your new role
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMLocation: Barking, LondonDuration: rolling contract to start asapPay rate: £32/hour umbrella or £27.50/hr gross inc. holiday pay.
Provide specialist care and support to children and young people with eating disorders within the community.Work collaboratively with families and caregivers to deliver a holistic approach to treatment.Conduct home visits to assess and support CYP in their own environments.Deliver meal support and other interventions as part of the treatment plan.Liaise with other health care professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).Expertise in supporting children and young people with eating disorders.Strong ability to remain calm, supportive, and caring in challenging situations.NG (Nasogastric) Tube Training is required.Knowledge and skills to work effectively with children, young people, and their caregivers.Ability to perform home visits as part of the role.
