Solicitor (Credit Hire and Personal Injury)

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Solicitor specialising in Credit Hire and Personal Injury to establish and lead a new in-house legal team within a market-leading Motor Insurance Company. This pivotal role offers the chance to be instrumental in shaping the future of the legal operation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage litigated Fast Track, Credit Hire, and Personal Injury claims through to trial.
- Work collaboratively with the claims team while taking personal ownership to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Utilise the company's case management and diary system effectively.
- Ensure compliance with court directions and prepare trial bundles, court applications, and case management conferences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Insurance and Claims Companies.
- Provide regular updates on case developments to the Insurance Company, ensuring cases are run efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' experience in Credit Hire and Personal Injury.
- Proven experience in litigation.
- In-depth knowledge of RTA, Credit Hire, and Personal Injury.
- Ability to meet strict court deadlines and maintain high client service levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify technical defence and procedural points.
- Experience with case management software.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in working with Damages Claims Portal.
