My client is an award winning, high profile educational facility within the creative sector. They are looking for 2 x Internal Communications Executives to join their busy Internal Communications team on a 2 month contract reporting to an Internal Comms Manager. You will coordinate and deliver internal communications about my clients internal and strategic activities across key channels, identifying story opportunities and promoting strategic change initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and partner with teams across the brand, from their HR Group to their Social Purpose division, to consult and deliver communication plans. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of transparent, informative and inclusive communications, enabling my clients' colleagues to understand the brand direction and how their own work contributes to my clients success.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Work across internal communications to deliver corporate news and strategic updates across the brand in line with their 10-year strategy and social purpose.
  • Act as a business partner for key internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Identify news and story opportunities and gather content to engage staff across various sites
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues specialising in internal, external and campaign communications across the group.
  • Maximise engagement from my clients audiences by producing clear and impactful written and visual communications
  • Devise and deliver communications plans for key internal campaigns, coordinating and monitoring activity across multiple internal channels such as newsletters, intranet, staff events.
  • Provide communications leadership and support for key stakeholders to agree impactful communication plans and content.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our communications activities, producing insights reports and recommendations, and delivering improvements.

To be considered:

  • Experience in a similar internal communications role, generating and evaluating effective internal communication messages and campaigns based on audience insight (for example, staff surveys)
  • Experience of managing internal digital communication channels such as an employee intranet or newsletter.
  • Experience of advising senior leaders and stakeholders to consult and deliver communication plans.
  • Able to write great copy and tell a compelling story, translating jargon as necessary
  • Able to write, script and commission high-quality and visually impactful communication materials in a variety of formats, including editorial and video.
  • Able to effectively plan, prioritise and manage multiple projects, initiatives, and campaigns to achieve short and long term objectives.
  • Able to lead and develop internal networks with university stakeholders at all levels, actively seeking to build productive and enduring relationships to foster collaboration.
  • Able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team and share the load to maximise collective delivery.
  • Experience of working in a higher education (HE) or purpose-driven environment, or in the creative and cultural industries, would be welcome (desirable)
  • You must be free and ready to start work beginning of June 2024.
