Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects. Your role involves ensuring value for money while achieving the required standards and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost analysis for various projects
- Prepare tender documents and contracts
- Manage project finances, budgets, and forecasts
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control
- Liaise with clients and other construction professionals
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience with projects valued at £20m or more
- Strong understanding of construction processes and financial management
- Proficiency in cost estimation and project management software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
