Job Opportunity: Synthetic Training Operator

We are seeking a Synthetic Training Operator to join our team and provide training support on the Maritime Composite Training System (MCTS). MCTS is a cutting-edge platform designed for simulation and warfare training in controlled environments.

Role Overview:

As a Synthetic Training Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting ongoing and collective training activities. You will be responsible for the precise and realistic control and operation of the high-fidelity MCTS warfare training environment.

Preferred Candidate Background:

We are specifically looking for candidates with a Naval background who specialise in Above Water Weapons (AWW).

Location: Fareham
Hours: 37-hour week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and assist instructors and staff in delivering training activities.
  • Provide competent and proactive support to facilitate training in MCTS simulators and electronic classrooms.
  • Collaborate with the Warfare Team Trainer (WTT) and the Classroom-Based Simulation Trainer (CBST).

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Operations Room.
  • Working knowledge of surface ship sensors and weapon systems.
  • Experience in Above Water Warfare.
  • Experience in an electronic simulation environment.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
