Teaching Assistant

We are an outstanding and unique secondary special school, looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team. Day-to-day of the role:
- Support students aged 11-18 with a range of social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural needs.
- Work in an education environment where behaviour can be challenging.
- Operate under clear direction and use your own initiative to address student needs.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to provide bespoke learning experiences.
- Maintain patience, resilience, and composure in a challenging and demanding environment.
- Meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations within the school setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience or a strong interest in working with students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the education and development of young people.
