Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic General Teacher to inspire and educate our KS3 students across a range of subjects. This role is perfect for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are committed to delivering high-quality education tailored to the needs of SEND students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects to KS3 students.
  • Develop individualized learning plans to cater to the unique needs of students with ASD and SEMH.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure effective learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Flexibility and ability to teach multiple subjects.
  • A genuine passion for working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD and SEMH.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
